Additional considerations: The Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn At the time of the new moon in Gemini ( 2nd June 12:14 GMT), Jupiter and Saturn will still be sharing Taurus’s 24th degree in a separating conjunction aspect. Jupiter, however, is beginning to pull ahead and by the end of the month will have left the sign Taurus. It will be another twenty years before these two join up again, this time in the sign Aquarius. There has been much interested speculation on the matter of what and who has been sent to help us. This month, before these two mighty planets- one of them representing the benevolence of deity the other representing opportunity - separate for a long period, can we not consider what we ourselves can create from the coming together of these two principles, so that we can help out? The Solar Logos too only has His personality to use as the medium for manifestation. In His case, His personality is our Solar system, the cosmic physical plane, and his mental and astral nature is as limited within its confines as is ours within our personalities. But this is what we have and this is what we must learn to work with. If our soul intuits that there is a need for change, then we must use the resources of our personalities to create the means of change. The Solar Logos does exactly this when he sends in outside help. He uses Will, Intuition and the means available to his personality. He thereby links the cosmic mental plane, the cosmic astral and the cosmic physical plane, using the agency of a major ray, a sign, and a Creative Hierarchy out of manifestation but active on the cosmic astral plane. This is stage one. Stage two takes place within our solar system and involves the use of the ray, the sign, two planets, Jupiter and Saturn and the two Creative Hierarchies in manifestation which are governed by them. The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Pisces produces an Avatar. This is why the Magi knew of the birth of Jesus. If the help is to take human form then this involves a third stage involving Jupiter and Saturn and two more rays and two lower Creative Hierarchies which will enable the energy to emerge from formlessness and become a human monad. If the human agent is to have a personality that requires another stage and if he is to have a dense physical body and walk on the earth yet another stage will be required. Five stages: this is hardly sleight of hand. Rather, it represents a patient stepping down of the energies, and a working with the material available. Its not easy for God either, this bringing down of intention to the place of enactment in order to bring about change, but when you love you do not sabotage yourself by questioning whether it is worth it. Humanity is responsive to both Jupiter and Saturn: we can pick up on this process when it is in its third stage and we can help out by using our own personality vehicles to ground this energy. We too can link the mental, astral and physical plane and create something to meet a need. As Reshad Feild has said so often: ‘Ours are the only hands God has.’ Saturn governs the human mental body; Jupiter governs the principle of fusion, between head and heart, mind and love, will and wisdom. In terms of human consciousness they represent benevolence and wisdom, structure and experience. We can contemplate most respectfully what the conjunction in Taurus has brought into manifestation and then sit back to wait and see what happens . Or we can get working with what we know these two principles make possible, in order to have something to give back.
